Please join us for a free seminar for South Carolina educational leaders on Monday, November 4th, hosted by the Brain Injury Association of SC (BIASC) and Heathwood Hall Episcopal School in Columbia. The seminar will combine a short lecture, case study, and interactive dialogue with attendees, and will cover the latest trends and research on safely returning to academics after a brain injury. Dr. Karen McAvoy will provide school administrators with an understanding of current best practices in concussion management for students, as well as an in-depth explanation of how they can best use the Brain Injury Association’s *NEW* resource, the South Carolina REAP Manual (Remove/Reduce, Educate, Adjust/Accommodate, Pace).
